Icon is painted in the Old Believer style. In good condition. The icon has been cleaned from the soiling, dust and darkened olifa in our restoration center.
This icon is an excellent example of the high quality of painting of this type of icon. The icon is painted in a traditional iconographic manner in a masterly implementation. The gold stripes on St. Nichola's garments are made by using a special method of application of the gold leaf, - "assist".
On fields are represented: the left border depicts Guardian Angel and St. prophet Avdey. On the right border St. prophet Mihey and St. Xenia.
