On icon are represented: Icon of the Burning Bush. This subject is based on the vision of Moses on Mt.Horeb. The Virgin and Child are within an oval mandorla, contained within two curved squares, forming an octagonal star - the symbol of the future eternity. In the corners, are the symbols of the four Evangelists, spreading their words to the Four Corners of the world. Angels surround the Virgin. Icons of this subject are believed to protect against fire. Icon of the Nativity of the Mother of God. The apparition of Our Lady to St. Basil "God's fool" and St. Gurius, Samon, Aviv.
